Welcome to Massachusetts, 14th Star Brewing Co.! Brewed in St. Albans City, Vermont, 14th Star Brewing Co. was the dream of owner and brewer Steve Gagner - an Army veteran who, while deployed in Afghanistan, thought about building a brewery upon retiring from military service.
The brewery's flagship brew, Valor Ale, is a hoppy amber with a portion of its proceeds going to the Purple Hearts Reunited Foundation; a foundation that returns lost or stolen medals to the service men and women who earned them.
Today is a monumental, historic day in the craft beer industry. Today marks the first day of Stone Brewing Co. Beer produced in Berlin, Germany being available throughout Europe. With this achievement, Stone Brewing Co. becomes the first brewery - independently owned and operated – to build and operate a brewery in Europe.
It's the most wonderful time for a beeeeer! And this year's lineup for Meadhall's annual 12 Brewers of Christmas is lookin' delicious. Each day leading up to the main event on Wednesday, December 16th, (when all 12 participating breweries take over all 110 taps) one keg a day will be designated as the "Tot Keg." Kicking things off this Friday the 4th is Allagash White - proceeds from each pint sold will benefit Toys For Tots.
Tot Keg lineup:
Ballast Point Sculpin
Dogfish Head Namaste
Founders All Day IPA
Green Flash Soul Style
Jack's Abby Jabby Brau
In the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday and to give back to our community, our company-wide food drive brought in over $800 to buy non-perishable food items for Everett's Connolly Center - a local emergency food pantry and community center. So, we went shopping:
