Cigar City offers quality beer that reflect the flavors and history of Tampa. They offer a wide range of beers, some including; Jai Alai IPA, Guayabera, Maduro, and Florida Cracker. Make sure to keep an eye out for these brews to get a taste of that Florida sunshine!

Jai Alai IPA: Named after this fast-paced sport, Jai Alai is an award winning India Pale Ale that is brewed in tribute to this native game. The bitterness and rich malt character of tangerine and orange balance with the delicious flavors of clementines, Valencia orange, and caramel. The 6 different hops, Armarillo, Simcoe, Cascade, Motueka, Centennial, and CTZ give this beer a bold flavor. Jai Alai can be paired with beef empanadas, deviled crabs and other spicy dishes.

Guayabera: This Citra Pale Ale is keeping up with tradition much like the guayabera shirt it is named after. This shirt combines style and functionality in its four-pocketed design. Citra hop, the main ingredient in this beer, admits notes of tangerine, lime, and berries that created a flavor that is unique and recognizable. Its dry, crisp character make it refreshing and functional like the guayabera shirt.

Maduro: Maduro Brown Ale is higher in alcohol than most English Brown Ales and the aromas of toffee and chocolate macaroons will satisfy your sweet tooth. It features flaked oats in the malt bill which imparts a silky body and works to mesh the roasted, toasted and chocolate components together. Its flavors of semi-sweet chocolate, almond, and brown sugar make this beer perfect for pairing with mild to medium cigars.

Florida Cracker: This beer was named to honor the Cracker Cowboys of Florida. The term Cracker in Florida relates to the whip these “cow hunters” that were used to herd cattle in Florida’s Palmetto Prairies. Called Quaqueros by the Spanish, these hard working Cracker Cowboys helped to shape the history of Florida, the nation’s oldest cattle raising state. This beer is brewed with unsalted wheat, orange peel, and coriander and it fermented with Belgian yeast for a dry and spicy finish. A Florida Cracker is perfect for unwinding on a warm day.
